TIME IS RUNNING OUT

It‘s getting hotter and also dirtier on our planet. Currently the Great Pacific Garbage Patch covers an area of 20 million square kilometers (2019). Because of all the pollution of the ocean caused by trash and waste waters, the ocean becomes dirtier and more toxic every day. Besides of disastrous effects for the environment this also affects surfers. In cities like L.A. people can not go surfing after it had rained because there are too many chemicals and other toxic elements in the ocean which were washed from the dry land (fabrics, city and so on.). If we continue to pollute our environment the way we do now, surfing will be a sports with high-hazard or maybe not even possible at all in the future.

The last ones

Monkeys, apes and other primates continue to disappear from the earth. A lot of populations face extinction caused by habitat destruction, climate change and the hunting for illegal wildlife trade. The drawing shows (one of the last ones) a monkey trying to protect it’s child from all the potential hazards.

The other side

This drawing was inspired by the photo of the Year 2015 taken at the Hungarian-Serbian border. It shows that sometimes everything that separates people is a barbed wire and some people were just unlucky to be born on the ´wrong” side of it.
