LÖVE

This is actually one of my most favorite artworks so far. I’ve seen the heart lamp at a good friends apartment, arranged with banksy’s “girl with the balloon” print beside it (the lamp was used as the balloon heart). I really fell in love with the simple idea of combining artwork with a lamp and turning it into a cool art installation. After I told my friend (very often I might say) how much I liked the lamp and the artsy combination, he gave me the lamp as a present to create my own installation with it. The following pictures show my interpretation of a heart by combining a watercolor painting with lots of wire and colored epoxy.
